Episode#13: When You Lose Steam

Updated: Mar 30, 2021

Hey, Teachers of Littles!

Spring Fever seemed to hit early this year for many of us, but then isolation happened and our whole school year was turned upside-down.

This week I’m reflecting on what the end of the year means when it doesn’t get to end on our terms. I talk about the parent side of things as well as the teacher perspective; like many of you, I wear both hats! So I wanted to share some tips with you guys on how to deal with day-to-day struggles, how to get through when you’re losing steam, and how these skills can transfer from the home to the classroom.

So raise a cup of tea with me: to the “end of the year,” to your Littles and their families, to our amazing teacher tribe, and to just doing the best you can -- and then pick up your earbuds, and listen in to this week’s episode!

We may not all be in the same boat, but we are definitely all in the same storm. Let’s close out this year with connection and positivity! Get the full episode here:

I am people to beta-test my newest professional development course:

This group will be a collaborative effort, working through the topics of socio-emotional learning, shifting challenging behaviors, inclusion, and more; and we will address these topics from a variety of viewpoints, including remote learning, homeschooling, and of course, in the classroom!

If being a part of this sounds like your cup of tea, just copy/paste and fill in the following, and send it to me hello@themagicoflittles.com:

Hey Renee!
