Today’s podcast is a message of hope, of solidarity, and of proactive solutions to help you help the families in your care, because…
Times are WEIRD, guys.
I had a whole different episode recorded and ready for you, and then the proverbial ish hit the fan. Now that we’ve all been removed from our classrooms and thrown into these new roles, I think we’ve all been asking the same questions:
What will our students do without us now that schools have been closed down?
How will our students’ IEPs be handled?
What happens now?
How can WE cope with these unexpected changes, and at the same time offer support and resources to our students and their families?
Never fear, friends! I come bearing hope. And solutions — an AMAZING pinterest board — and a FREE adjustable document (created by yours truly), to help your students’ families figure out how to get started, get organized, and find a balance.
So take a breather and listen in, because we are all on this journey together, and there’s nothing to fear. The kids will be alright — because they have you.
